Jaggi Murder Case: Amit Jogi Convicted, HC Orders Surrender Within Three Weeks; Court Calls It Political Conspiracy

Bilaspur/Raipur: In a significant development in the high-profile Ramavatar Jaggi murder case, the Amit Jogi has been convicted by the Chhattisgarh High Court, which has directed him to surrender within three weeks.
A division bench headed by Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha delivered the verdict, accepting the CBI’s appeal in the matter.
Reacting to the judgment, Amit Jogi termed the decision “unexpected”, alleging he was convicted without full opportunity of hearing. He stated, “Injustice has been done to me.”
During the hearing, Satish Jaggi informed the court that the murder of his father was part of a political conspiracy. The CBI had submitted an 11,000-page chargesheet, asserting that sufficient evidence existed. Based on this, the High Court allowed the appeal and ordered surrender.
