Chairman Coal India inspects Gevra and Deepka mega projects.

Chairman Coal India Pramod Agrawal today inspected two big mega projects of SECL. He reached Gevra House from Headquarters Bilaspur in the morning, where after initial discussion with the General Manager and Core Team, he reached to check the mine. Pramod Agrawal observed the ongoing production activities and gave necessary instructions. He also inspected the departmental OB removal. During the meeting, the expansion of the mine adjacent to the villages of Amgaon and Naraibodh was discussed.
After inspecting the Gevra project, Coal India Chairman Deepka reached the viewpoint and took stock of the activities of the mine. He also personally observed the points related to the project expansion towards the villages of Amgaon and Suabhondi Malgaon related to the mine expansion.
Chairman also directed the power sector to dispatch coal on a priority basis. He also inquired about the supply to the Sipat NTPC plant.
While discussing mega projects, Pramod Agrawal said that these projects are significant for the country. Given the increase in the prices of coal in the international market, it is the responsibility of all of us to make the country’s economy strong by producing more and more.
CMD SECL Dr Prem Sagar Mishra, Director Technical Operations Manoj Kumar Prasad, Director Technical Planning Project SK Pal Area General Manager SK Mohanty, Ranjan Prasad Sah Area Core Team officials were present along with Chairman Coal India.
