Amit Shah Arrives in Jagdalpur for Bastar Pandum Closing Ceremony

Raipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at Maa Danteshwari Airport in Jagdalpur on Monday for the concluding ceremony of the three-day divisional level ‘Bastar Pandum‘. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma received the Home Minister at the airport.

The Home Minister is scheduled to attend the event at the historic Lalbagh Parade Ground. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MP Mahesh Kashyap, Kanker MP Bhojraj Nag, and Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Deo also greeted the Union Minister upon his arrival.

Mayor Sanjay Pandey and other public representatives joined the official reception committee. Senior administrative and police officials, including Commissioner Doman Singh, Inspector General of Police Sundarraj P, Collector Akash Chhikara, and Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha, were present to ensure security and logistical arrangements for the high-profile visit.

The ‘Bastar Pandum‘ serves as a significant cultural gathering for the Bastar division, and the Home Minister’s visit underscores the Union government’s focus on the region’s tribal heritage and development.
