Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the state government is working with full commitment to fulfill the resolution of making Chhattisgarh Naxal-free by the end of March next year. He noted that measures to choke Naxal financial networks and the implementation of an effective surrender policy have shown positive results across LWE-hit states.
The review also covered the expansion of road connectivity and telecommunication in the Bastar region, which has been central to weakening the extremist movement. According to official data, the geographical spread of Naxalism has contracted significantly, with security forces maintaining high operational intensity in the final phase of the campaign.
