Raipur:Booster dose of Covid-19 can be administered after six months from the date of second dose instead of nine, according the new rule made by the government of India. If the second dose if administered, the one need not to wait for nine months for the booster dose. Rajesh Bhushan, Health Secretary, Government of India, has written letter to all the states in this regard.
The decision has been taken following the recommendation of National Technical Advisory Group of Immunisation (NTAGI). As per the new rules, all the people above 18 can get the booster dose after the completion of six months of their second dose.
