Inflation fire in LPG: 14 kg domestic cylinder will be available in Raipur for Rs 1124; last July, it was Rs 906.

Dispatch News.
Petroleum companies have once again increased the price of LPG. The price of 14.2 kg of domestic LPG in Raipur was Rs 1074. From Wednesday itself, cylinders have started getting the new rate at the cost of 1124 rupees. Exactly a year ago, in July 2021, the same cylinder was available for Rs 906.
In the last 12 months, the cost of LPG has increased by Rs 218. It cost Rs 906 in July 2021. In August, it increased by Rs 25; in September, Rs 25 more was added to its price. In October 2021, there was an increase of Rs 15. Prices remained almost constant from November 2021 to March 2022.
In April 2022, the price of LPG was increased by Rs 77 and in May by Rs 53. Ashish Bajpai, the operator of the gas agency in Raipur, said that from today a cylinder of domestic LPG will cost 1124. The new prices have come into immediate effect. “Companies have continuously raised prices in the last two months,” he said.
Congress communication department chairman Sushil Anand Shukla said that the increase in the price of LPG by Rs 50 is a betrayal of the public, an atrocity. Ever since the Modi government came to the country, it has increased the price of LPG by about 250 times. Before the LPG was available for Rs 400, it costs Rs 1100 now. The BJP-led central government is constantly putting the burden of inflation on the people due to its wrong policies. The prices of edible oils increased, and petrol and diesel crossed Rs 100. Cooking gas has become out of reach for housewives.
When asked about the price of LPG, BJP Legislature Party leader Dharamlal Kaushik said, “After the formation of the Modi government, ten crore LPG connections have been distributed to the deprived sections in this country. The government gave it to those who have not been able to buy it with their own money. The concession was for the economically weak people. Dharamlal Kaushik said the price of petrol and diesel keeps going up and down. Still, the central government gave a concession. They also want the state government to make it cheaper by cutting taxes.
