23-year old Chhattisgarhi Actress from Janjgir-Champa, raped by Chhollywood script-writer

A Chhattisgarhi actress was raped in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Allegedly a scriptwriter first took her to his house on a ruse and raped her. In this, three other people also supported the accused. When the actress talked about complaining to the police, the accused promised her marriage and exploited her for a year. Then refused to marry her. Now the actress has lodged an FIR at Masturi police station. All the accused are absconding.
A 23-year-old girl from the Janjgir-Champa district works as an actress in Chhattisgarhi films. While working in films, she met Narayan Sahu, a resident of Ved Parsada village in the Masturi area. Narayan Sahu writes scripts for Chhattisgarhi films and is preparing for the production of a movie. The actress told the police that in April 2021 she had gone to Raipur with a friend and Narayan Sahu and his partner Narayan Bhoi to shoot a movie.
After the shooting was over, all four reached Bilaspur station by train at around 11 pm. There, Narayan Sahu told the actress that it was quite late and invited her to go with them to their village and leave in the morning. Being from the same field, the actress trusted her and reached Narayan Sahu’s house with her friend. There the actress and her friend were given a room and he went to sleep in another room with his partner Narayan Bhoi.
The actress alleges that late-night Narayan Sahu and Narayan Bhoi knocked on the door of the room. As soon as she opened the door, both of them entered and Narayan Bhoi dragged her friend to another room and locked it. After this Narayan Sahu raped the actress. In the morning, when the actress talked about going to the police, Narayan Sahu told her that he loves her and wants to get married. He and Narayan Bhoi coerced her not to file an FIR.
After this, the actress started living-in with the accused Narayan Sahu till March 2022. The actress alleges that whenever she talked about marriage, Narayan Sahu would avoid it. Now he has refused to marry. On this, the actress reached the police station and lodged an FIR. Police say that the four accused are absconding. Their mobile numbers are also turned off.
