The government will provide free textbooks to the students studying from classes I to X in Swami Atmanand Excellent English and Hindi medium schools. Kids studying at CBSE schools will also have free textbooks. Director Public Instruction has directed all District Education Officers to supply CBSE and NCERT syllabus-based textbooks in Swami Atmanand Excellent English and Hindi medium schools in this regard. The letter issued to the District Education Officers, clearly says that some districts of the state, have implemented CBSE and NCERT syllabus on the advice of the Collector and Chairman, in Swami Atmanand Excellent English and Hindi medium schools. Free textbooks of the course prescribed should be distributed to the students by purchasing them from the market at the earliest. For reimbursement of expenditure on textbooks of students of classes I to X, the school should submit necessary information in the prescribed format to the Directorate of Public Instruction within three days.
