Messages have been sent on WhatsApp by online thugs demanding money from Commercial Tax Department officers in the name of T S Singhdeo
Raipur:The office of Chhattisgarh Health and Commercial Tax Minister T S Singhdeo had lodged a complaint with the Civil Lines police station that the name of Singhdeo and his image was being misused on social media platform such as WhatsApp. SInghdeo’s name is being misused to send misleading messages to the departmental officers through phone messages from two fake mobile numbers. The Office of Singhdeo has expressed serious concern over this development in the complaint.
The mobile numbers used to send WhatsApp messages are 7976620188 and 8369687927 to various officers/employees and attempt was being made to cheat Commercial Taxes Department official through Amazon-Pay gift card.
Commercial Tax Department Deputy Commissioner Hemant Sinha Tarun Kiran and State Tax Officer Naresh Hurra, posted in the Commercial Tax Department, while giving information about the matter to the office of Health Minister Singhdeo and wanted to know the veracity, they came to know that such messages are completely misleading, untrue and fake and are being done with the intention of harming the reputation of Minister Singhdeo and deceive the officers/employees of the Commercial Tax Department.
Taking immediate cognizance of the development, a complaint has been lodged on behalf of the Minister, Singhdeo, at the Civil Lines police station and a message has been given to all the employees-officers and the general public not to believe in any such misleading messages and information.
