The review meeting, chaired by Amit Shah, is set to include Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai, State Home Minister Vijay Sharma, and top officials from central paramilitary forces. Discussions will focus on countering left-wing extremism in Naxal-affected areas, emphasizing development initiatives, and addressing issues related to communication, roads, and schools.
Meanwhile, during the Legislative Assembly’s orientation programme, Brijmohan Agrawal extended a warm welcome to Amit Shah. The second day of the event saw former minister Ajay Chandrakar discussing the significance of question time, highlighting its crucial role as the soul of democracy.
Chandrakar provided detailed information on different types of questions – starred, unstarred, and short notice. Legislators were informed that they can ask a maximum of four questions per day, requiring a 21-day notice for each question.
Earlier, on Saturday, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Union Minister Mandaviya participated in the programme. Their guidance aimed to assist legislators in handling various issues. The Vice President entertained the audience with a humorous story from Parliament.
Amit Shah’s arrival at the airport was met with a warm welcome from Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
