Chhattisgarh Congress to recite Hanuman Chalisa on January 22, says PCC president Deepak Baij

Raipur
Chhattisgarh Congress will also resonate with the spirit of Ram. The party’s leaders across all districts in the state will recite Sundarkand, Hanuman Chalisa, and Ram Charit Manas on January 22, the day which will mark the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. The commencement of this programme will take place at the Hanuman Temple at Raipur District Congress Headquarters.
Deepak Baij, the Pradesh Congress Committee President, will participate in the event held in Raipur district. According to Baij, “We want to convey that only the BJP is not a devotee of Lord Ram. Congress has been devoted to Lord Ram from the beginning.”
Speaking on the occasion, Baij said, “We will make an effort to start the day by paying homage to God in the name of faith on January 22. Going to Ayodhya is a matter of personal faith. Everyone has their faith, whether it’s in Lord Ram, Lord Shiva, or Goddess Durga. This is the subject of everyone’s faith. There is no deadline on the 22nd. Whoever wants to go can go when they wish.”
He emphasized, “Listen to the prestige of Lord Rama from Shankaracharya, who is questioning the vitality of Ram Lala’s consecration. They are consistently opposing it. I understand that consecrating in this way, disregarding their words, is an insult to the spiritual gurus. Shankaracharya is saying that the temple is incomplete. It could also be done during Ram Navami. However, the BJP is seeking votes in the name of Ram before the Lok Sabha.”
Baij concluded by stating, “We will not seek votes in the name of Lord Ram. The country’s economy will be our main issue. Our focus will be on the development and progress of the country.”
Taking a dig at the BJP’s Lok Sabha performance, Deepak Baij remarked, “BJP has 9 seats, and we have 2 seats. They consistently raise issues related to the region and the state in the Lok Sabha. They have hindered the central government’s plans. BJP leaders have not spoken for the people or their rights.”
