Chhattisgarh Chief Minister promises reinstatement of honorarium for MISA detainees

Raipur In a significant declaration during the state-level conference of Loktantra Senani Sangh in the capital city, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai affirmed the BJP-led government’s commitment to reinstate the honorarium for MISA detainees on Wednesday. Chief Minister Sai highlighted the government’s intent to initiate the reinstatement of honorarium for ‘Misa Bandi’ (MISA detainees) in response to their collective sacrifices. The conference saw ‘Misa Bandi’ from various parts of the state, accompanied by their relatives, sharing poignant accounts of their experiences. Moved by their narratives, the Chief Minister drew parallels with the time of the emergency, emphasizing the distress faced by families when freedom fighters were incarcerated. He assured, “Our government will ensure justice for the ‘Misa Bandi.’ Dr. Raman Singh’s previous administration had commenced providing honorarium to them, and we are dedicated to enhancing our efforts for their welfare.”
