Special birthday celebrations for CM Baghel with major welfare announcements for labourers
Raipur: The capital city of Raipur witnessed an outpouring of warmth and well-wishes as chief minister Bhupesh Baghel celebrated his birthday today. Crowds gathered along the road from Ambedkar Chowk to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk to extend their heartfelt greetings to the chief minister.
Touched by the overwhelming affection displayed by the people, chief minister Baghel expressed his gratitude for the birthday wishes he received from the people.
In addition to the celebratory atmosphere, Baghel took the opportunity to make significant announcements aimed at enhancing the welfare of labourers in Chhattisgarh. One of the key announcements involved an increase in assistance under the Mukyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana. The assistance, which was previously set at Rs 50,000, has now been raised to Rs 1 lakh, signaling the government’s commitment to the well-being of laborers.
Another noteworthy announcement pertained to the elevation of the State Labour Officer’s Offices in various regions, including Bastar, Surguja, Janjgir-Champa, Baloda Bazar, and Rajnandgaon. These offices will now be upgraded to the status of Assistant Labour Commissioner’s Offices, highlighting the government’s focus on improving administrative infrastructure for the benefit of laborers.
