Raipur: The 15th of August 2023 will witness the grand and spirited celebration of Independence Day throughout the state. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will hoist the national flag in a significant ceremony at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur.
On the occasion of Independence Day, Dr. Charandas Mahant, the Speaker of the Assembly, will perform the flag hoisting at the District Headquarters of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. In other district headquarters, ministers and parliamentary secretaries will unfurl the tricolor, while the Chief Minister’s message to the people of the state will be read.
Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo will hoist the Tricolour in Surguja, Minister of Panchayat, Rural Development and School Education Ravindra Choubey in Bemetara, Home and Public Works Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu in Durg, Forest and Climate Change Minister Mohammad Akbar in Kabirdham, Food and Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat in Rajnandgaon, Revenue Minister Jai Singh Agrawal in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhediya in Balod, Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel in Raigarh, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Mohan Markam in Kondagaon, Industry Minister Kawasi Lakhma in Sukma, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar in Mungeli, and Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya in Janjgir-Champa.
