CM Baghel witnesses signing of Rs 1188.36 Crore MoU for modernization of state’s 36 Government ITIs

Raipur: In the presence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Department of Technical Education and Skill Development and Tata Technologies.

The MoU, inked for a project worth nearly Rs 1188.36 crores, aims to modernize the state’s 36 Government ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes). The event took place during a program organized in the office chamber at the Legislative Assembly premises. Under this agreement, the state’s youth will receive training in 6 new trades and 23 short-term courses at the ITIs. Tata Technologies will also play a key role in establishing state-of-the-art technical workshops and providing trainers. Furthermore, Tata and its partner companies will extend support in offering placements to the skilled youth. The initiative is expected to benefit over 10,000 young individuals annually, aligning their technical skills with the demands of the modern era.
