Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officer Association thanked CM Baghel for the historic decision to increase DA and HRA
Raipur, 20 July 20, 2023/ Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officers’ Association paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in his office located in the assembly premises today. The delegation expressed gratitude to Baghel for taking the decision in the interest of government employees and officers. President of the Public Relations Officers Association Balmukund Tamboli said that the hike in D.A. and HRA is a historic decision and the officers and employees across the state are overjoyed by the news.
The delegation of the officers and employees of Public Relations thanked Chief Minister by presenting him with a bouquet. For the first time ever, government employees of the state will receive D.A. amount equal to that of the Centre. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that our government has always taken care of the employees and has taken decisions in their interest. Chief Minister encouraged the officers and employees to work with full dedication and hard work.
Baghel has made several major announcements in the interest of the government employees at the assembly on Wednesday, while presenting the supplementary budget. For about 5 lakh government employees of the state, 4% hike in dearness allowance has been announced. The salary of 37000 contractual workers has been increased by 27 percent. The salary of daily wage earners has been increased by Rs 4000 per month. Moreover, monthly resource allowance of Rs.500 to 6000 has been announced for patwaris, 9 percent house rent allowance for B class cities and 6 percent for C and other cities on the 7th pay scale for all the government employees, annual allowance of Rs 8000 for police constable, and monthly provision of Rs 2500 to 3000 for 10 thousand panchayat secretaries have also been announced. This has stirred a wave of joy among the government officials and employees.
