Renowned Pandavani artist Teejan Bai in stable health, Team of doctors visited her residence following CM’s urgent intervention

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel took notice of the ailing health condition of the renowned Pandavani artist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Teejan Bai, as the news spreads across social media platforms. Taking immediate action, the Chief Minister directed a team of doctors to promptly visit Teejan Bai’s residence in Ganiyari village, located in the Durg district.

Durg Chief Health and Medical Officer Dr JP Meshram stated that BMO Patan Dr Ashish Sharma acted swiftly and instructed the medical team accordingly. Soon after receiving the information, Dr Bhuvneshwar Kathotia and nursing staff Gulshan Khalkho reached Teejan Bai’s residence and conducted a thorough health examination. Dr Kathotia conducted a comprehensive health check-up, gathered information about her ongoing treatment and medications, and provided suitable advice.

Considering her family’s request, Teejan Bai will continue to receive healthcare at home for the time being. She is undergoing treatment for several pre-existing conditions including coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke with residual paralysis, and other ailments. She is diligently following the prescribed medications as advised by her consulting physician.

Meanwhile, in a recent health update, Tejaan Bai has been reported to be in stable health. She is currently getting treatment at her residence in her home village Ganiyari. The Health Department is actively involved in monitoring her condition, ensuring regular check-ups and providing necessary treatment under the supervision of doctors.

Today, a team of Block Medical Officer (BMO) along with Hamar Clinic Ganiyari medical officer Dr Dipali Agnihotri, nursing staff and BITO Sayed Aslam, conducted a thorough health check-up of Smt. Teejan Bai. The results indicate that her health condition remains stable, and she continues to benefit from the healthcare services being provided to her. The Health and Wellness Center team, operating under the Health Department, is constantly monitoring her health, ensuring her well-being. As part of a special campaign initiated by the district administration, she is also receiving physiotherapy sessions and consultations at home.
