46 natural paint manufacturing units established in Gauthans initiate paint production from cow dung

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel’s vision of promoting livestock conservation has transformed Gauthans into rural industrial parks in the state. Among various income-generating activities, the production of natural paint from cow dung has emerged as a great innovation for Gauthans. They have currently established 46 units to manufacture natural paint from cow dung. These units have successfully produced 2,16,919 litres of natural paint, generating a substantial income of Rs.3.53 crore by selling 1,70,498 litres of natural paint. The state has approved the construction of 63 natural paint manufacturing units, with 50 manufacturing units already built and from those 46 manufacturing units are currently producing paint. Additionally, 13 paint manufacturing units are in the final stages of construction and will be operational soon. The remaining 17 units will commence paint production shortly.
