Celebrating Success: Helicopter Joyride reward for 89 board topper students, including those belonging to special backward tribal communities

Raipur: In a remarkable gesture to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the meritorious students, the chief minister Bhupesh Baghel bestowed a unique and thrilling gift upon the top performers of class 10 and 12. As a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication, these talented students were treated to an exhilarating helicopter ride. Following the instructions of chief minister, the topper students of class 10 and 12 took a helicopter joyride at the Police Ground in Raipur. This journey was quite exciting for the enthusiastic children.

Meanwhile, a total of 89 students who secured a place in the merit list of the Chhattisgarh Board’s 10th and 12th class examinations of the year 2023 took a helicopter joyride from the police parade ground, Raipur.

Children shared their joyful experiences

Sukasam, a student of the Birhor tribe of Korba district, thanked the chief minister for this initiative. He said that this will encourage people from marginalized communities like us to strive for a place in the merit list. Priya Rohra, a student of Class 12 at Vijay English Medium School in Manendragarh, expressed her gratitude to the chief minister for the helicopter joyride. She said that coming from a small town and getting to sit in a helicopter is no less than a dream. Shreya Pandey, the topper of Class 12 in Shakti district, said that it was quite an adventurous experience to travel in a helicopter, and I have received encouragement for further good studies in the future. Payal Yadav from Baradwar in Shakti district said that she scored 96.8 percent in the 10th grade. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to take a helicopter joyride due to my place in the merit list. I am very happy, and I will study with great enthusiasm in the future so that I can secure a place in the merit list and get such opportunities for joyrides.

In the annual examination of the Chhattisgarh Board in the year 2023, 49 students in Class 10 and 30 students in Class 12 have secured a place in the merit list. Similarly, among the Scheduled Tribes, a total of 10 students, including 5 in Class 10 and 5 in Class 12, have topped their respective categories. Last year, in 2022, 125 meritorious students who secured a place in the merit list were also taken for a helicopter joyride as per the promise of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. This extraordinary initiative aims to inspire and motivate the young minds, showcasing the limitless possibilities that await those who strive for excellence.
