Sanjay Alang to deliver a lecture at the International Research Seminar held at Banaras Hindu University (BHU)

Sanjay Alang, an expert on the history and culture of Chhattisgarh, will deliver a lecture at the Banaras Hindu University on June 10.
Sanjay Alang’s lecture in the three-day international seminar organised under the joint aegis of the Department of Hindi, Banaras Hindu University, Kashi Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh Hindi Institute, and Bharatiya Darshan Parishad is on a topic related to Chhattisgarh.
Sanjay Alang is an established and renowned writer and scholar known for his extensive research work and books on Chhattisgarh. He has received the highest award for the best research paper from the Ministry of Human Resource Development for his research on Chhattisgarh. The book Chhattisgarh: Itihaas aur Sanskriti received the highest honour of Rs 1 lakh for the best research paper.
He has published more than ten books on Chhattisgarh. These books include many well-known titles like Chhattisgarh: History and Culture, besides Chhattisgarh’s princely states and zamindaries, Chhattisgarh’s tribes and castes, etc.
Sanjay Alang’s three poetry collections are also published, and he has also been honoured.
Presentation of research on Chhattisgarh at Banaras Hindu University International research presentations will not only attract attention to the research on Chhattisgarh, but the study done so far will be recognised on a larger scale.
He is currently the commissioner of the Bilaspur and Surguja divisions and has now been transferred to the post of divisional commissioner in Raipur.
