City MLA Shailesh Pandey participated in the All India Congress Committee meeting organised in Bengaluru regarding preparations for the assembly elections in Karnataka. National President Mallikarjun Kharge, General Secretary KC Venugopal, Randeep Surjewala, Karnataka State President DK Shivakumar, MPs, MLAs, senior leaders, and observers appointed by the All India Congress Committee attended the meeting.
National President Mallikarjun Kharge, General Secretary KC Venugopal, State President DK Shivakumar, and Randeep Surjewala addressed the meeting. The national leadership has assigned area-wise responsibilities to the supervisors of the assemblies present.
The state of Karnataka is going to have assembly elections on May 10, with voting on 224 assembly seats. The ballots will be tallied on May 13. The state of Karnataka has 5.21 crore voters, of which 2.6 crore are male, while the number of female voters is 2.5 crore.
