Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said that no tourists used to visit Bastar after Dr Raman Singh became the chief minister of the state. Today, Bastar has turned tourists’ paradise, said Baghel.
Leave aside the people from outside, even the people of Chhattisgarh were afraid to go, said Baghel while targeting his predecessor who attacked the state government over its failure on tacking Maoism in Bastar. Such was the identity created by Raman Singh. During his tenure, the sound of IED blast was heard all over the country, said Baghel. Tribals were in panic during the tenure of Raman Singh, he said.
Baghel said that businessmen and youth were scared. “Wereturned their land to the tribals in four and a half years, provided employment to the people, focused on their health and education. During the tenure of Raman Singh, there was no job card, no Aadhaar card, at that time soldiers had to struggle to get ration. Today ration is reaching the homes of the poor. The natural beauty of Bastar is the tribal culture here,” said Baghel.
Former Chief Minister Raman Singh termed the recent convention held in Bastar as a farce. Regarding which Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Raman Singh can never organize such an event. Baghel said that no one is interested in Raman Singh in Bastar. 12 out of 12 seats were lost. He lost in the by-elections as well, Baghel said.
No one can raise questions against Adani in this country. If questions are asked against Adani, his mike is switched off in the Lok Sabha, said Baghel. Here Bharatiya Janata Party, RSS, Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad together trying to mislead people.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that if someone tries to spread hatred in the society, tries to instigate the society, then action will be taken against him. Action is being taken according to the provisions of the law. Nothing is being done separately.
