Raipur: Preparations for the upcoming first-ever international ODI match to be played between India and New Zealand at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur on January 21 is almost complete, said a release of Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association.
“The association is making its best efforts in collaboration with the state government for the successful organization of this cricket match”, the release stated.
The association informed that both the teams will reach Raipur on Thursday. Besides, the online bookings which were closed will be started again this evening from 4pm on Paytm. An international level laser show will also be organized after the end of the match for the entertainment of the spectators.
After years of efforts, Chhattisgarh has got the chance to host its first ever international ODI match. The association has made all possible efforts to ensure international level arrangements including security, cleanliness, and hygiene for the spectators.
