Raipur: Amid decrease in number of Covid-19 cases across the state, school education minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam said that schools will be reopened with full capacity in districts with low positivity rate.
Discussions will be held with all the authorities and officials concerned before reopening of schools. Schools would be open in districts with less than 4 per cent positivity rate. Preparations are ongoing on department level in this regard. Decision regarding reopening of schools will be taken at the earliest.
Speaking about board examinations, the minister said that examinations will be conducted in offline mode and all schools will be made examination centers. Keeping in view the current situation, students are allowed to give examinations in their respective schools. Separate arrangements will be made in case if a student is positive for Covid-19.
