CM Sai says collectors will be suspended if bribery complaints are received in PM Awas Yojana

Raipur
The third phase of ‘Sushasan Tihar’ has begun on Monday in Chhattisgarh. Under this initiative, grievance redressal camps are being organized across all districts to resolve public issues. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is conducting surprise inspections of the camps. He first visited Karigaon in Sakti district, and after announcing several benefits there, he reached Madanpur in Korba, where he listened to public grievances and addressed them. During this visit, he made a significant statement regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
At the grievance redressal camp in Madanpur, Korba, the Chief Minister stated that if any bribery or transaction is reported under the PM Awas Yojana, strict action will be taken against the district collector. He said that going forward, if any complaint regarding monetary transactions in the PMAY is received, the concerned collector will be directly suspended. However, he also clarified that he has not received any such complaints so far.
Regarding the Jal Jeevan Mission, CM Sai said that the previous Congress government installed water tanks in many places without properly identifying water sources. Our government is now rectifying these issues to ensure that water reaches every household.
It is noteworthy that CM Sai addressed and resolved nearly all applications during his interaction with people at the Madanpur camp in Korba. Earlier today, at Karigaon in Sakti district, he announced a series of development initiatives, including the construction of a new panchayat building and the beautification of a temple. He has now reached Janjgir.
