Year 2022 brings cheers in face of inmates as their children get admission in reputed schools
Bilaspur:Untiring efforts of Bilaspur Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Alang helped eight children of inmates get admission in reputed schools.
The year 2022 has brought cheer on the face of some inmates serving their jail term in the Bilaspur Central Jail as their children have been given admission in the reputed schools following the benevolent efforts of BilaspurDivisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Alang. According to information, eight children of the jail inmates have been admitted to reputed schools. The beneficiary children include four boys and four girls between age group of 6 and to 13.
It is to be mentioned, the Divisional Commissioner had initiated the process of getting children living with their parents in the jail admitted to reputed schools when he was the Collector of Bilaspur. Dr Alang has been making efforts to bring the children of inmates to mainstream society and finally succeeded in getting eight children admitted to reputed schools.
It is to be known that the children of convicted prisoners, whose age is more than 6 years, are brought up in the free space available in the jail premises. These children were being provided education in nearby schools. But with the efforts of Dr Alang, these children have now got admission in excellent schools.
On the initiative of Dr Alang, a 13-year-old boy studying in Chhattisgarh Higher Secondary School, Bilaspur has been admitted to Swami Atmanand Utkrisht School. Similarly, in Shivaji Rao Primary School, Imlipara Bilaspur, 11 year–old–boy of class 5, 7 year old boy of class III, 6 year old boy of class I, 8 year old girl of class IV and 9 year old girl of class V were sent to Swami Atmanand English Medium School. Two girls of 13 and 14 age group living in Muktakaashwho were studying in Devkinandan Higher Secondary School will also study in BarjeshHindi Medium School.
The parents of these children are happy with the initiative of Commissioner Dr Alang and they hope that their children can join the mainstream of the society and fulfil their dreams.
