Sexagenarian reaches CM House travelling a distance of 10kms on ‘Gedi’, CM Baghel lauds his talents

Raipur: “You are a young person of 60 years. Please show your talent on Gedi”, requested chief minister Bhupesh Baghel when he came to know that an elderly Tirath Ram Sinha was trying to meet him for the last two years while travelling on a Gedi. Baghel immediately called Ram for a meeting and also talked to him cordially. On Thursday, a grand event was organized in the Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion of ‘Hareli Tihar’.
One such person is Tirath Ram Sinha, who lives in Jora, a village 10 Km. away from Raipur district. Sinha said that he had been attending the Hareli Tihar programme to meet the chief minister for the last two years but he was unable to do so. But today, when the chief minister came to know about him and called him to his residence for a meeting.
Tirath Ram told the Chief Minister that he had come from Jora while travelling through a distance of 10 Km. on his Gedi. He also expressed his wish to show the chief minister his talent for riding a Gedi. At this, the chief minister also expressed his desire to see his talent. Tirath Ram immediately jumped on the two Gedis simultaneously. After watching Tirath Ram’s amazing talent, the chief minister said that he is a young person of 60 years. After meeting the chief minister, Tirath Ram said that he was really happy after meeting him today and it is a great honor for him to be called by the head of the state and to be receiving recognition.
