Health Minister TS Singhdeo helps a 3-month old suffering from a serious liver disease.

Raipur. Yesterday Health Minister TS Singhdeo spoke on video call to the relatives of Pando tribe of Ambikapur regarding the treatment of 3-month old newborn daughter suffering from severe liver disease. In Ambikapur, he tried to get help from the district administration after the family members came to know about this serious disease. Later, he asked the family members to come to the capital Raipur for treatment. When the family reached DKS Hospital, TS Singhdeo spoke to the family members through a video call. The family members said that their daughter is suffering from a serious liver disease called Biliary Atresia, for which the cost of treatment can run up to ₹ 10,00,000 in a private hospital. The disease needs surgery, Health Minister TS Singhdeo has assured the family members that the complete treatment of the girl child will be free at the DKS Hospital in the capital. He also talked to the doctors and spoke about providing free medical service to them.
