National Seminar on the Book “Modi@20: Dreams Meets Delivery” organized at CU

Bilaspur. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (Central University),  Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal said that the personality and leadership of the successful Prime Minister of the country, Hon’ble Narendra Modi are amazing as is his decision-making ability. He made this statement on July 20, 2022, at 10 am in the Rajat Jayanti Sabhagar on the occasion of a one-day national seminar organized on the book “Modi@20: Dreams Meets Delivery” written by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The program started with lighting the lamp and offering flowers to the idols of Maa Saraswati and Baba Guru Ghasidas. The Tarang Band gave performed Saraswati Vandana and Kulgeet. After welcoming the guests on stage with small saplings, the Coordinator of the national seminar, Dr Ashwini Kumar Dixit, gave the welcome address and the Co-coordinator, Prof. Sushil Kumar Shahi launched the theme of the seminar “Modi@20: Dreams Meets Delivery”. The Vice-Chancellor said that he is proud to have the opportunity to serve Chhattisgarh as the Vice-Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Central University. The Prime Minister has redefined the execution and management of works within the time limit. His personality has the quality of cooperation and coordination with purposefulness and just behaviour. He started public welfare schemes with the spirit of nation-building and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

National Education Policy-2020 is an effort to make youth self-reliant through skill development and experiential education. He said that to diagnose the problem, one should know the problem deeply and then proceed with various options for its solution. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chakrawal said that to make the students strong and courageous entrepreneurs, we have to implement the Swavalambi Chhattisgarh Yojana. He appealed to the youth to register on the Self-reliant Chhattisgarh portal.

The Chief Guest of the National Seminar, Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Vice-Chancellor, Vikram University said that the political journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been long and is associated with various experiments. In the Indian context, it is considered better to implement the policy of having more and more work done by more and more people for rural development. Referring to both the terms of the Modi government, Professor Pandey discussed the provisions made for various schemes and their implementation.

The Special Guest of the seminar, Professor Nilambari R. Dave, former in-charge Vice-Chancellor and Head of Department, Department of Home Science, Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat said that the journey of Narendra Modi till becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of the country is inspiring for the people. She said that the various schemes being run by Narendra Modi, such as ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ have brought a positive change in society. He has made constant efforts to realize the vision of development for all. He established the Indian tradition of Yoga at the international level and today the whole world is celebrating Yoga as International Yoga Day.

At the National Seminar, winners of various competitions like slogan, quiz, poster, speech and Rangoli competition got certificates from the guests on stage. The guests also took stock of the exhibition put up on the first floor of the Silver Jubilee Auditorium. The book “Modi@20: Dreams Meets Delivery” has been authored by twenty-one dignitaries of the country. Bharat Ratna, Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar wrote its preface.

On this occasion, the guests on stage were honoured with mementoes. At the end of the program, the Registrar, Prof. Shailendra Kumar gave his vote of thanks and the program was conducted by Dr Garima Tiwari. Deans of various schools, heads of departments, officers, teachers and a large number of students participated in the program.
