Transfer Ban may be lifted in the upcoming Cabinet Meeting.
Dispatch News.Raipur. The cabinet meeting will be held on Thursday under Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. All eyes are on the decision to lift the transfer ban. Transfers were banned for more than two years and along with staff officers, ministers and Congress leaders are also waiting. The government may decide on this in the meeting.Before the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha, the cabinet meeting mainly discusses the supplementary budget, amendment bill etc. They may also discuss the availability of fertiliser seeds in the farming season and the paddy buying target this year.Staff officers of Chhattisgarh are agitating for dearness allowance. Preparations are on for a week-long strike this month. The government may decide the dearness allowance in the interest of the employees. Similarly, the transfer ban can also be removed to satisfy the employees. There is a discussion about pressure from the minister, MLA and workers to remove the ban on transfers.The Chief Minister is touring the state continuously under the meeting program. After Bastar and Surguja divisions, he is in Gaurella Pendra Marwahi district in Bilaspur division. During this, he will talk to the officials about the feedback received and instruct them regarding the shortcomings that have come to the fore. The supplementary budget will have a provision to fulfill the announcements that the CM has made.
