Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain has instructed the Health Department to increase the vaccination of booster doses. He has also asked the Health Department to be alert given the increasing infection of Coronavirus.

He has also urged people to follow the guidelines of prevention. According to the report of the Health Department, 131 new patients had appeared till 8 pm on Wednesday. Now the number of active patients in the state has increased to 585.
At the same time, the speed of booster dose vaccination has lagged in the state. This third dose of vaccine is not available for people between 18 and 59 years. A booster dose is being applied only at four centres in two cities. Only 16 thousand 615 people in this class have been able to get a booster dose. Whereas in this category, more than one crore 70 lakh 64 thousand people are to be vaccinated.
