Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Visit Chhattisgarh on June 22

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Chhattisgarh on June 22. In preparation for his visit, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held a high-level meeting on Friday to oversee arrangements.
During his visit, Shah will meet the families of police personnel and officials who were martyred in Naxal violence. According to information from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shah will also chair a review meeting on the progress of anti-Naxal operations. Senior officials from the Chhattisgarh Police, BSF, and CRPF are expected to participate in the meeting.
Chief Minister Sai has directed officials to ensure all necessary preparations for Shah’s visit. There are indications that Shah may travel from Raipur to Bastar as part of his itinerary.
Those present at the meeting included Chhattisgarh Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Manoj Pingua, and Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam.
