SECR to Run Special Train for Jagannath Rath Yatra: 18 Coaches, Stops at 9 Stations in Chhattisgarh; Service from June 26 to July 7

To facilitate devotees attending the Jagannath Rath Yatra, South East Central Railway (SECR) will operate a special train between Gondia and Khurda Road with 18 coaches. This decision has been taken to manage the anticipated crowd and ensure passenger convenience. The special service will run from June 26 to July 7.
During this period, devotees will have direct train access to the Jagannath Temple located at Khurda Road. The special train will halt at 9 stations within Chhattisgarh.
Schedule of Special Train No. 08893 (Gondia to Khurda Road):
- Dates: June 26, 28, 30 and July 2, 5
- Departure from Gondia: 1:30 PM
Schedule of Return Train No. 08894 (Khurda Road to Gondia):
- Dates: June 28, 29 and July 1, 3, 7
Coach Composition of the 18-Coach Special Train:
- 2 coaches – AC II Tier
- 1 coach – AC III Tier
- 7 coaches – Sleeper Class
- 6 coaches – General Unreserved
- 2 coaches – SLR (Seating-cum-Luggage Rake)
The train will have a total of 28 stops, including:
Gondia, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raipur, Mandir Hasaud, Mahasamund, Bagbahra, Khariar Road, Nawapara Road, Harishankar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Badmal, Balangir, Loisinga, Dungripali, Barpali, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Rairakhol, Boinda, Kerejanga, Angul, Talcher Road, Dhenkanal, Bhubaneswar, and Khurda Road.
