12 CRPF jawans injured as ambulance overturns in Bastar

An ambulance carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel overturned, injuring at least 12 jawans, including the driver, in Bastar on Saturday. Sources indicate that eight of the personnel sustained major injuries.
The incident occurred when an ambulance transporting personnel of F Company of CRPF Battalion 188 overturned in Rattenga, Bastar district. In total, 12 soldiers were injured, with eight of them sustaining more severe injuries and receiving treatment at Dhimrapal Medical College. Four soldiers were admitted to Lohandiguda.
Reports suggest that all personnel were traveling from Lohandiguda to the company headquarters in Konta. During the journey, the ambulance lost control and overturned after one of its tires got stuck in a large pothole on the road’s turning point. Among the injured are Manohar Tiwari, Vishwajit Roy, Rajiv Basumatarai, Bappa Ghosh, Manjeet Basumatarai, Tilak Raj, Rajkumar, and Kareen Mashohari.
