A married woman’s body was found in the house of her neighbour in Abhanpur police station area of Raipur district. Police suspect that the neighbour had an illicit relationship with the woman. The woman’s body was found naked on the bed, with both hands tied to the bed.
It is suspected that the neighbour first raped the woman and then tied her hands to the bed. After that, he killed her by hitting her head with a heavy object. Police are searching for the accused in this case. The woman’s husband had gone to Nagpur for some work.
According to information received from the police, the deceased woman lived with her husband and two children in Abhanpur police station area. Her husband works as an operator in a private factory. He had gone to Nagpur on January 27 for company work.
The woman was at home with her two children. On January 28, at around 10 am, the woman also had a phone conversation with her husband. After this, at 5 pm, her son told her on the phone that his mother had gone somewhere. The younger brother is crying.
It is suspected that the accused neighbour first called the woman to his house. Then he committed the act of rape with her.
The woman’s husband returned to the village. He called his relatives and acquaintances and searched for his wife, but she could not be found anywhere. Only then did a person from the village tell that a woman’s body was found in the house of the neighbour, Uttam Sahu. Blood was scattered around. She was brutally murdered. Also, Uttam Sahu is absconding from the house.
Police investigation revealed that the woman and Uttam Sahu used to talk on the phone. The woman’s husband also stopped her from this.
As the matter is sensitive, the police are investigating from every angle. The scene of the incident has also been sealed and the accused is also being searched for.
