CM Baghel assures strict action against illegal trade of liquor

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that necessary action will be taken to curb illegal liquor trade in the state. He was talking to media during his ‘Bhent-Mulqat’ programme in Balod on Wednesday.
He dedicated/performed bhumi pujan of 126 works worth Rs 135 crore in Sanjari BalodVidhan Sabha. With this, in his four days till now, the chief minister gifted the district with development works worth Rs 485 crore.
On the fourth day of Balod tour, the Chief Minister also held a review meeting with the officials. The CM has expressed concern about the depleting water level in the Gurur area. He asked to make people aware about the benefits of Narva Garva Ghurva Bari scheme.
The chief minister said that hot food should be ensured under the nutrition scheme. He reviewed road condition and other developmental works.
The Chief Minister condoled the death of renowned comedian Raju Srivastava on the occasion and described the loss as irreparable.
The chief minister said that he worked with the idea of how to increase the income of the people. “Despite Corona, we kept working and a balance was maintained. That dream came true in Chhattisgarh. With economic growth, employment opportunities also increased. In this era of global crisis, we have shown the way to the country,” said the chief minister.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also released Tuhar Yojna Tuhar Duar Booklet.
The Chief Minister praised the Jijivishaprogramme being run for placement of skilled youth in Balod district. He said that such programmes are going on in every district.
