Korba Police Cop of the Month Scheme to boost morale and encourage outstanding performance.

Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh started the Cop of the Month scheme to encourage and reward the police officers and employees who do remarkable work every month in the district. Along with the cash reward, good service entry and testimonials to the selected employees, their photographs are kept on the notice boards of all the police stations/posts, including the office of the Superintendent of Police.

Subedar Bhuneshwar Kashyap, Principal constable Laxmikant Kharsan, Ramu Kurmi, Virkeshwar Singh, Rajkumar Neelam, Arun Tirkey, female constable Rehana Fatima have been selected for the Cop of the Month in July 2022.

            Subedar Bhuneshwar Kashyap for excellent performance in the work of traffic management and guard centre, Principal constable Laxmikant Kharsan and female constable Rehana Fathima for the recovery of 10 lakh valuable gold and silver along with other accused in the case of theft of police station Kotwali, constable Ramu Kurmi for commendable work during the assembly session, constable Virkeshwar Singh for doing good work in the cyber cell, constable Rajkumar Neelam for doing remarkable work in public awareness of the rescue program, Arun Tirkey was awarded the Cop of the Month for his commendable work in catching the accused expeditiously in a sexual assault case.
