IIT Bhilai and France’s Institut Mines-Télécom Nord Europe (IMT Nord Europe) have signed a dual-degree agreement, strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions and creating new international learning opportunities for students.
The agreement was formalised during the Bharat Innovates (Global Acceleration for Indian Education Ecosystem) event held in Nice, France, from June 14 to 16, 2026.
The dual-degree arrangement builds on a cooperation agreement signed by the two institutions on July 4, 2025. Under the new framework, students will be able to pursue integrated academic programmes at both IIT Bhilai and IMT Nord Europe, enabling them to study in India and France as part of a structured exchange pathway.
Students who successfully complete the programme requirements will receive degrees recognised by both institutions, enhancing their global academic credentials and career prospects.
The partnership is expected to deepen academic and research cooperation between the two institutes while promoting cross-cultural exchange and international exposure for students. It also reflects IIT Bhilai’s continued efforts to expand its global engagement and strengthen collaborations with leading international institutions.
