Chhattisgarh will provide highest relief to its people on petrol, diesel: CM Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur:Putting a rest to the criticism of his political rivalries, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that petrol and diesel in Chhattisgarh will be available at lower than the price of other states. Baghel said that no states so far released any order on how much price they have reduced. “I am waiting for the orders still to be issued by the other states. This is for sure, Chhattisgarh will have lower price than any other states as far as petrol and diesel are concerned,” Baghel asserted.

Baghel made this announcement in Bhilai as he was attending a symposium on ‘Nehru Kyon’, organised at Civic Centre Kala Mandir on Wednesday. JNU Professor Purushottam Agrawal was the main speaker of the programme. Post the symposium, Baghel talked to media and said that some states have announced reduction in price of petrol and diesel which he came to know from media, but no state has released any order in this connection. Baghel said that he is waiting for the states coming out with orders regarding reduction. Once orders are issued by the other states, Chhattisgarh will ensure it provides the highest relief to its people.

\CM Baghel targets PM Modi

Addressing the symposium, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Mahatma Gandhi, former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi have made great sacrifices for the nation, but their sacrifices are not being remembered today. Baghel targeted the Prime Minister on Afghanistan and coal issue. He said that coal crisis in the country led the central government to import it from Australia. These issues are not being discussed. Baghel said that the DAP crisis is not only in Chhattisgarh but also in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. However, Chhattisgarh is being targeted on this issue, he said. Ammonium Nitrate is being imported from China for production of DAP, but this is not being mentioned anywhere by the Central government. Hindu and other minorities are being made to clash, Baghel said, adding BJP ridiculously described demonetisation as great success, but why not its fifth anniversary was celebrated. The Prime Minister is avoiding discussion on real issues, said Baghel.
