8 shooters of RKC Raipur participated in 64 National Rifle Shooting Championship 2021

Raipur: As many as 8
shooters of Rajkumar College Raipur participated in the 64 National Rifle
Shooting Championship 2021 organized by National Rifle Association of India
(NRAI) in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Department
from November 25 to December 10. The shooters participated in Sub-youth and
other categories.

Four boys who
participated in the championship included Kunwar Karthik Singh who scored
608.08 points, Manvendra Sharma scored 607.5 points, Shivam Choudhary scored
805:7 points and Kusharg Dev Singh scored 600.7 points. In the Girls category Khushi
Choudhary scored 610.7 points and Sunishka Kumar scored 599.2 points.

Besides, two girls less
than qualifying scores include Mrinalika Kumar who got 577.8 points and Jatsiya
Raj got 573.4 points which is very close to the qualifying score 593.

Coach of Rajkumar
College Hariom Singh said that the children are working hard and if they do
such hard work, they can perform well at the international level in the coming
time. He also informed that Rajkumar College Raipur has 10 meter air pistol and
air shooting range. He thanked his school’s board and Principal Col. Avinash Singh
for promoting shooting and also informed that in the coming days, the board and
the principal Rajkumar College, Raipur are also trying to establish a range of
50 meters.
