She was in Chhattisgarh to address election rallies in favour of the party candidates in Bilaspur and Rajnandgaon. She emphasized the importance of questioning the intentions of political leaders. At the event, she reiterated eight significant announcements made in Khairagarh. Priyanka emphasized the need to question the intentions of political leaders, drawing a parallel with family dynamics where good intentions lead to positive outcomes, while bad intentions result in wasteful expenditure. She encouraged the people to scrutinize the promises made by politicians in Chhattisgarh, much like they would in their own families. The event also witnessed Priyanka reaffirming the eight major announcements made in Khairagarh. These announcements included a subsidy of 500 rupees for gas cylinder refills under the Chhattisgarh Mahatari Nyay Yojana, free electricity for consumption up to 200 units, and the waiver of loans for self-help groups operated by women. Additionally, loans taken under the Sashakti Yojana by women would also be forgiven. These initiatives aim to alleviate financial burdens and improve living standards for the people of Chhattisgarh. Priyanka addressed the gathering passionately, recalling the sacrifices made by her family members, including her grandmother and father, for the country. She stressed that despite personal tragedies, their dedication to the nation remained unwavering. She emphasized the importance of distinguishing between family-oriented politics and genuine patriotism, urging people to prioritize the latter. Priyanka praised the efforts of the Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, in protecting the interests of the citizens from unfavorable central policies. She claimed that the state government provided relief to the people, saving them from challenging situations. During the event, Priyanka Gandhi also underlined the significance of addressing road accidents and other emergencies, stating that the Chief Minister’s special health assistance scheme would offer free medical treatment for Chhattisgarh residents affected by road accidents. Furthermore, the Congress leader announced plans to establish over 700 new rural industrial parks in the coming years. She also promised upgrades for all government schools in the state and the forgiveness of motor vehicle taxes and interest on loans for more than 6,600 vehicle owners engaged in the transportation business. Priyanka concluded her speech by highlighting Congress’s commitment to uplifting the underprivileged and empowering the marginalized sections of society. She criticized the delay in implementing women’s reservations in elections and warned the people against the policies of the central government, which she claimed were favoring industrialists at the expense of the public. She urged the citizens to make informed decisions when casting their votes in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that supporting the Congress would lead to progress and development in Chhattisgarh. Lastly, Priyanka Gandhi criticized the Gujarat model, suggesting that the shining image portrayed from afar concealed the truth. She pointed out that the Gujarat model, which had been praised, ultimately did not benefit the youth, leaving them unemployed and disillusioned with the prevailing state of affairs.
