BJP unveils ambitious manifesto in Raipur with “Modi’s Guarantee”, Rs 3100 per quintal to farmers for paddy and 21 quintals per acre procurement

In a significant political event, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its manifesto at Raipur’s Kushabhau Thakre complex, which they aptly dubbed “Modi’s Guarantee.” The manifesto outlines a comprehensive vision for the state, with a focus on agriculture, social welfare, and development.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that if the BJP comes to power, they will initiate an Krishi Unnati Yojana, with a commitment to purchase rice at a competitive rate of 3100 rupees per quintal per acre and provide a one-time payment to farmers. Additionally, the BJP pledged to provide financial support of 10,000 rupees to laborers.
In a bid to bolster tourism and religious significance, the BJP is set to launch the “Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana.” This initiative aims to enable the state’s underprivileged to visit the holy city of Ayodhya, where they can witness Lord Rama, who is often referred to as the nephew of Chhattisgarh.

\Housing Scheme Promise: The party has pledged to construct 18 lakh homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and expedite the work of providing water to every household.
\Promise for Laborers: Landless agricultural laborers will receive an annual payment of 10,000 rupees under the Deendayal Upadhyay Agriculture Labor Scheme.
\Health Initiatives: The BJP promises that every family will receive assistance of up to 5 lakh rupees under the Ayushman Yojana, and medical treatment costing up to 10 lakhs will be covered by the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The party plans to establish 500 Prime Minister’s Jan Aushadhi Centers to provide affordable medicines to the economically disadvantaged.

\Urban and Investment Initiatives: The BJP aims to create a State Capital Region (SCR) akin to the National Capital Region (NCR) by merging the cities of Raipur, Durg, and Bhilai. This SCR will facilitate investment opportunities without any land encroachment. Furthermore, the party will initiate the “Invest Chhattisgarh Summit,” a global annual investment invitation conference.

\Promises for Religious and Tourism: The “Shaktipeeth Parikrama” project will cover 1000 kilometers, and the party will develop Chhattisgarh’s five Shaktipeeths similar to Uttarakhand’s Char Dham. Moreover, Chhattisgarh’s less privileged residents will have the opportunity to witness the darshan of Ram Lalla through the “Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana.”
Amit Shah also criticized the previous government led by Bhupesh Baghel, alleging that corruption had thrived during their tenure. He pointed to various corruption cases, such as the alcohol scam, transport scam, and a cow dung scam. Shah accused the Congress government of prioritizing appeasement politics over development and youth employment, expressing concerns over the lack of action against those responsible for Bhuvaneshwar Sahu’s murder.
The release of the BJP’s manifesto sets the stage for a crucial political contest in Chhattisgarh, with both parties vying for the support of the state’s electorate.
