Minister T S Singhdeo participates in a Virtual Meeting of Health Ministers.

Today, Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo attended the virtual meeting of health ministers of all the states and union territories of the country presided over by the Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya. Discussions were held in the meeting regarding the TB Free India Campaign, Rakta Daan Amrit Mahotsav (a nationwide organization of blood donation camps) and the Ayushman scheme. The Director of National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh, Vilas Sandipan Bhaskar, was also present in the online meeting with T S Singhdeo at the CHIPS office at Civil Lines.

During the meeting, the Union Health Minister provided detailed information about the TB-free India campaign and the Amrit Mahotsav blood donation drive. He stated that both campaigns would take place between September 17 and October 1. He advocated for increased public participation in these campaigns by involving NGOs and public communities. He stated that the goal was to eradicate tuberculosis from India by 2025. He also stressed making cards for more and more people under the Ayushman Bharat scheme so that people can get health services through this scheme.
