From Super 30 to “Super Infinity”: Anand Kumar Takes Indian Education Global With a New Way of Learning Mathematics

Renowned educator and founder of Super 30, Anand Kumar, on Friday officially launched his much-awaited digital education initiative “Super Infinity”, aiming to transform the way mathematics is taught and experienced across the world.
The emotional and cinematic animation video released at 5:30 PM quickly gained traction on social media, with students, parents, and educators describing the initiative as a new beginning in the field of education.
Speaking at the launch, Anand Kumar said that while only 30 students could be selected each year for Super 30, one question had always remained in his mind — what about the dreams of millions of other children? He said “Super Infinity” is the answer to that question and emphasized that the initiative is not merely an online learning platform, but a movement.
Designed over several years by Anand Kumar and his small team, the platform aims to make mathematics engaging through storytelling, animation, music, and real-life experiences. Online classes on SuperInfinity.com are scheduled to begin from June, while Anand Kumar will also connect with students through a dedicated YouTube channel.
Through “Super Infinity,” students will not just memorize formulas but will learn how mathematics connects with life, nature, music, and the universe. The platform also plans to make Anand Kumar’s lectures available in several foreign languages in the coming years, expanding its global reach.
Apart from educational content, the initiative will also create inspirational films encouraging children and young people to dream big and pursue their goals despite challenges. The platform is being developed not only for students, but also for teachers, parents, and mathematics enthusiasts.
Anand Kumar has been working in the field of education for nearly three decades. His Super 30 initiative has helped hundreds of economically disadvantaged students secure admission into prestigious institutions such as the IITs, earning recognition from media organizations around the world.
The biographical film Super 30, based on Anand Kumar’s life, received widespread appreciation both in India and internationally. In 2023, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri for his contribution to education.
