Swift Action: Raigarh Police Capture Robbery Suspects and Recover Stolen Cash and Jewelry

Within 24 hours, the Raigarh Police apprehended the culprits involved in the Axis Bank robbery case and successfully retrieved the stolen cash and jewellery. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated the Chhattisgarh Police via a tweet, emphasizing that no matter if one is a thief, robber, or bandit, one will not escape justice in the new Chhattisgarh. He affirmed that the rule of law will prevail, whether it’s individuals who robbed banks or those who siphoned off Chhattisgarh’s resources into offshore accounts in Panama.
It’s worth noting that within the same 24-hour period following the incident, the police managed to recover the entire stolen loot, which included approximately Rs 4.19 crore in cash and Rs 1.43 crore worth of gold, amounting to a total of Rs 5.62 crore. Furthermore, the authorities detained all five individuals responsible for the crime, confiscating their weapons and vehicles in the process.
