Korba Police conducted a two-week special drive to check over 10,200 tenants, residential mines/plant employees, and hawkers.

Superintendent of Police Korba Santosh Singh had directed all police station in-charges to conduct a campaign in the entire district to verify randomly selected tenants, working workers, and hawkers. Following the instructions, under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, City Superintendent of Police Darri Robinson Gudiya, City Superintendent of Police Korba Vishwa Deepak Tripathi and SDOP Katghora Ishwar Trivedi, all police stations/outposts in charge of tenants, employees etc. residing in their respective areas Checking done. During this, more than 10 thousand people were checked, in which the number of labourers along with the tenants was about 6 thousand, who are working in various institutions in the district after coming from other places. The remaining 4,000 tenants, employed and engaged in other business activities, were checked. Also, the police have taken action against 101 suspects under section 109 CrPC. Documents related to identity verification have been obtained from the tenants and working people, and files have been kept ready in the police stations/outposts.

The landlords have been instructed to keep the house on rent only after conducting a thorough investigation into the tenant, and the information about renting the house must be given to the appropriate police station. Employment employers have received similar instructions. Significantly, delinquents can commit illegal incidents along metro lines in many places. There is a possibility of such incidents happening in the district, to prevent which this exercise is being done. The checking of tenants, workers and hawkers is still going on.
