
Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Government has issued posting orders for five Indian Forest Service (IFS) probationary officers of the 2024 batch. The Forest and Climate Change Department issued the notification from Mahanadi Bhawan on Monday.
The officers have been temporarily appointed as Sub-Divisional Forest Officers (SDO) in different forest divisions for field training until further orders. Before these postings, all five officers were awaiting assignment as trainee IFS officers at the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) in Nawa Raipur Atal Nagar.

According to the order, Kunal Mishra has been posted as SDO, Ambikapur under the Surguja Forest Division, Mrigaja Jalinder Yadav as SDO, Katghora under the Katghora Forest Division, Parakh Sarda as SDO, Sukma under the Sukma Forest Division, Priti Yadav as SDO, North Narayanpur under the Narayanpur Forest Division, and Yashaswi Maurya as SDO, Rajnandgaon under the Rajnandgaon Forest Division.
During the field training period, the existing State Forest Service (SFS) officers posted in Ambikapur, Katghora, Sukma, North Narayanpur and Rajnandgaon will function as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) in their respective divisions. After the completion of the probationary training, the SFS officers will resume their duties as Sub-Divisional Forest Officers in the same sub-divisions.
