Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has issued transfer and posting orders for 23 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers with immediate effect. The Forest and Climate Change Department released the official order signed by Special Secretary J.P. Pathak on Saturday.
Under the administrative reshuffle, 2013-batch IFS officer Ganveer Dhammaseel, serving as Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Balodabazar, has been posted on deputation as Special Secretary, Forest and Climate Change Department.
Uttam Kumar Gupta (2013 batch) has been appointed in-charge Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Field Director of Indravati Tiger Reserve, Jagdalpur.
Pankaj Rajput (2014 batch) has been appointed DFO Raipur, replacing Loknath Patel (2016 batch), who moves to Surguja Ambikapur as DFO.
Duleshwar Prasad Sahu (2013 batch) takes charge as DFO Manendragarh, while Prabhakar Khalkho (2014 batch) has been posted as in-charge Conservator of Forests, Working Plan Division, Surguja Ambikapur.
Officers returning from deputation to the Chhattisgarh State Forest Development Corporation include Sanjay Yadav (2015 batch) as DFO Khairagarh and Pankaj Kumar Kamal (2016 batch) as DFO Balodabazar. Satyadev Sharma (2015 batch) moves from the corporation to serve as DFO Dharamjaigarh.
Meanwhile, 2022-batch officer Rishabh Jain moves from East Bhanupratappur to the Forest Development Corporation on deputation. Abhishek Jogawat (2017 batch) has been sent on deputation as Deputy General Manager at the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation.

Mahasamund and Gariyaband: Srinivas Tanneti (2015 batch) takes charge as DFO Mahasamund. Mayank Pandey (2015 batch) assumes the role of DFO Gariyaband.

Northern and Eastern districts: Grishmi Chand (2020 batch) has been appointed DFO Korea, Dipesh Kapil (2022 batch) assumes charge as DFO Manendragarh, and Pushpalata Tandon (2016 batch) takes over as DFO Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
