‘PM Narendra Modi’s vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, unlike Rajiv Gandhi’s unfulfilled slogan’

Raipur
Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya, while discussing the Union budget in Raipur, stated to the media that former PM Rajiv Gandhi’s slogan of taking India into the 21st century remained just a slogan due to a lack of planning. Mandaviya asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a developed India by 2047.
Comparing the visions of Narendra Modi and Rajiv Gandhi at the state BJP office Kushabhau Thackeray Parisar on Saturday, Mandaviya said, “Modi Ji has given the vision of Amrit Kaal. Modi Ji never thinks in tokens; he always thinks in totality. This vision is for when India celebrates its 100th year of independence, for the country to become a developed nation.”
Mandaviya explained, “Modi Ji not only gave the vision but also charted the path. When we only give a vision and do not chart the path, what happens is evident from an example I will give. When Rajiv Gandhi was the Prime Minister, he dreamt of 21st century India but could not chart the path to take India there, so the slogan remained just a slogan.”

Mandaviya further stated, “Modi Ji has said we will make the country a developed nation by 2047 and also outlined how it will be achieved. We need to work for four sectors in the country to achieve this: the poor, farmers, women, and youth.”
When asked by the media about the lack of specific provisions for Chhattisgarh in the budget, Mandaviya responded, “There will be no discrimination against Chhattisgarh. We are with Chhattisgarh. The state’s development will be fully supported by the Centre. Whenever demands arise from the state, our department will make positive efforts to fulfill them.”
Mandaviya noted that Modi Ji has set nine priorities in this budget, with a special focus on farmers and agriculture. A budget of Rs 1.52 lakh crore has been allocated. The development of farmers is key to accelerating the country’s economy.

Mandaviya announced that Rs 1.48 lakh crore will be provided as incentives for employment. The Central Government will contribute Rs 12,000 to the EPFO, and employers will contribute Rs 12,000. Efforts are being made to enhance skills. Employers are seeking skilled workers, but they are hard to find.

“We will provide internships for 1 crore youths every year, and in four years, we will prepare 4 crore skilled youths, increasing employment opportunities. This will also benefit the youth of Chhattisgarh,” he added.
