PM Modi Calls for Change in Chhattisgarh, Slams Congress Government

Raipur: In Bilaspur today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress government, framing it as a call for change in the state of Chhattisgarh. PM Modi said that the enthusiasm witnessed in Bilaspur signifies a declaration of change, with the people of Chhattisgarh expressing their desire for a transformation due to their concerns regarding the Congress government’s actions.

He pointed out issues of corruption and misrule burdening Chhattisgarh, alleging that employment schemes have been marred by scams, and corruption prevails in various government initiatives. PM Modi rallied the crowd, highlighting their readiness to remove the Congress party and bring the BJP to power.

Regarding Chhattisgarh’s development, PM Modi asserted that the BJP government, whether at the central or state level, has been wholly committed. He assured the audience that he would spare no effort to fulfill their dreams and emphasized that their aspirations align with his resolve. PM Modi claimed that he actively works to ensure that the Congress government in Chhattisgarh faces challenges. He cited substantial financial allocations, stating that Chhattisgarh has received significant funding from the Center over the past five years for various development projects, including roads, railways, and electricity.

PM Modi underscored his commitment to Chhattisgarh by revealing that the BJP government allocated a substantial sum of 6000 crore rupees for railway expansion in the state, compared to the 300 crore rupees per year received during the Congress regime. He expressed a desire to see an increase in the number of high-speed trains in the region.

Furthermore, PM Modi highlighted his government’s efforts to support the poor, particularly during the COVID-19 crisis. He emphasized his decision to provide free ration to every underprivileged individual, an initiative that continues to this day. PM Modi criticized the Congress for alleged corruption in the distribution of food and resources meant for the poor and stressed that Congress leaders are more concerned about their own families than those of the common people.
